Models equipped with cast aluminum or cast steel lower control arms will use the upper strut plates during the installation process. Stamped Steel models WILL require strut disassembly for the installation of the supplied pre-load spacer. Strut replacement kit SKU: 1319 will NOT use upper strut plates on models equipped with stamped steel lower control arms.
